Stray Rays in Grease exhibition explores the idea of a paradise or utopia unraveling. The show, with painting, photography, and sculpture, symbolized our time. The paintings are made using headlines from news sources that point to actual events of exploitation of weaponized online media platforms. Burnt plywood palm trees sprout from the gravel and ash, accompanied by a number of the beast paintings signifying challenged moral and ethical social experiences. Rock filled the entire gallery floor to replace the idea of sand at a beach, making walking the show challenging. The exhibition is intended to be delirious, with disconnected topics from all angles under the sun.
